Your data stays yours

Flux is self-hosted. Your energy history and Tesla connection live in a database you own and control. Flux does not operate a shared cloud that pools users’ data, and nothing is sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or third parties.

What is stored

Power snapshots and daily energy totals from your Tesla energy site, your automation settings, and notification events — the data needed to render your dashboard, charts, and alerts. No personal profile, no tracking identifiers.

Tesla tokens are encrypted

Access and refresh tokens from Tesla’s Fleet API are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) with a key only your deployment holds. They are used solely to read your energy data and send the commands your automations request.

No third-party analytics

The service ships without advertising SDKs or third-party analytics. Operational logs and traces stay within your own infrastructure.
